Dr. Todd Giese says:
Starting the practice in Lake in the Hills in 1988 was an exercise in patience. Now if you look at the area you would never guess it was mostly cornfield back then. A lot of humble pie later, I realize I am not in practice for myself but for the patients I serve. Hopefully Caring Family gives some glory to God through a strong commitment to Christian principles. Getting to know the families of this practice through the years has been as enriching as it has been
educational. I try to be flexible in my approach as each patient perceives their health crises uniquely. I accept a fair amount of leadership roles in our office, on the hospital committees, in our church and in my family. As a steward of many resources I see many complex problems with no easy solutions. So I pray a lot! My family is an extended one, with step children, grandchildren, a daughter Lauren and my wife Terry. Blossom, our retired pet therapist, also resides with us. Expect some non-traditional or folk therapies at times; I use them if they work! |
