What is Happy Hearts Music?
This is music specifically written for the purpose of enriching the lives of others. Our aim is to provide easy listening, beautiful music that will not only entertain but lift the spirit, relieve stress, educate, and bring relaxation and to help one connect with our Creator. The artist commonly describes her works as “music with a mission” others affectionately call it “music for the heart.”
Today there are over 200 original pieces. Happy Hearts has carefully arranged the musical selections into albums with common themes and are presenting them to you for your enjoyment. It may be the perfect gift for a special friend or loved one. Some selections were written for those who are going through difficult times. They will find the music especially comforting. Hundreds have already. The charming format makes the music enjoyable and entertaining for everyone. And because it is all original instrumental music it carries no memories, only brings new happy ones. Included with the CD’s are the lyrics to the songs, stories about the music or meditations. We think you will find the albums “heart warming” and maybe even a bit magical! It is all written to put a smile on the heart. Once you listen, we think you will understand how “Happy Hearts Music” got its name!

Meet the Artist
In northern Michigan, nestled at the edge of Lake Cadillac is a beautiful little city where Shirley Petersen and her Husband, Jim reside. after having the privilege of raising their three daughters and one foster daughter they are now enjoying grandparenting! Shirley is a volunteer for Hospice, is the parish nurse at her church, and is employed by the District health department. Her experience in home nursing, teaching music, and directing children’s choirs have inspired her to follow her heart and write music.
At first the music became an instrument for her personal healing. It was Gods special gift for her, and became a major source of comfort and strength. The results gave her the confidence to freely share her musical gifts with others.
